You cannot fix what you cannot see
Most money problems are not really problems. They are things nobody has looked at yet. Clear numbers come first, decisions come after.
We are CA Harshil Goyal and CA Sajal Goyal. We started from a small shop in a small town, qualified as Chartered Accountants, and built our own firm from one room to a team of over a hundred people. Along the way we helped 500+ Indian businesses understand their own numbers. That is what we teach here.
We grew up around a small grocery shop. Money was counted by hand at the end of the day. Nobody spoke about margins or cash flow. But we learned something early that no textbook teaches: in a small business, the numbers are personal.
Both of us chose Chartered Accountancy. We took jobs, learned how large companies handle money, and saw the gap clearly. Big companies had systems, reports and a finance head. Small businesses had none of it — and they needed it more.
In 2014 we left our corporate jobs to build our own practice. Our first client came from Noida Phase 2. There was no marketing. One happy owner told another, and that is how we grew.
Today our firm, Especia Associates LLP, has a team of over a hundred people and offices across India. We have helped more than 500 businesses, and valued over 200 companies. We also learned the lesson from the other side — after working with our own business coach, our profit grew 3.1 times. Systems work. We have lived it.
That is why we teach. A CA can file your returns. But only you can run your business — and you cannot run it well if you cannot see it clearly.
We grew up in and around a kirana store in Sikandrabad, watching a business run on daily cash.
Harshil starts the firm in a 200 sq ft office in Noida with two people.
Sajal leaves his corporate role. The first client arrives through a referral, and word of mouth takes over.
We add valuation, virtual CFO and internal controls. The team grows past fifty, with a second office.
The team crosses a hundred people, working with companies of every size, including Daikin and Genpact.
Our goal is to give one lakh Indian business owners the clarity we wish our own family had.
The shop, the CA exams, and the decision to leave a steady salary behind.
Sajal spent more than twenty years working on finance, taxation, compliance and business strategy. Before starting the practice, he worked with the Honda group, where he handled international and expatriate taxation for a large organisation.
He has since worked with more than 500 businesses in manufacturing, D2C, retail, services and technology. Owners come to him with the same question in different words: "the business is doing well, so where is the money?" His strength is answering that in plain language, then leaving behind a simple habit the owner can repeat every month without help.
He built the Finance Control Framework for exactly this reason — a monthly routine an owner can run in about an hour, with no accounting background.
Harshil started the firm in 2010 out of a small office with two people. Sixteen years later, he leads its valuation and transaction work.
He is a Registered Valuer and has led valuations for more than 200 companies — for fundraising, mergers, employee share plans and statutory reporting. That work means he has read the financial statements of hundreds of Indian businesses in detail, and he can usually tell within minutes where a company is losing value.
In the sessions, Harshil covers the part most owners never think about: what your business is actually worth to someone else, and the everyday decisions that quietly raise or lower that number.
These ideas shape every class we teach and every business we work with.
Most money problems are not really problems. They are things nobody has looked at yet. Clear numbers come first, decisions come after.
A three-page report you read every month is worth more than a thirty-page report nobody opens. We always choose the version you will actually use.
Your accountant records what happened. You decide what happens next. So you are the one who needs to understand the numbers.
If your finances stop when one employee is away, you do not have a system. You have a dependency. We help you replace it with a process.
Our firm received this award from Times Network in June 2026. We share the credit with the owners and the community who kept asking us better questions.

Thousands of owners follow our free sessions, templates and compliance reminders. Everything we teach is tested with them first.
Rahul Jain is one of the first business coaches in India. He has spent years helping founders build companies that can run without them.
He works with us, and he recommends our sessions to the owners he mentors. In this short video he explains why.
"My entire perspective towards the accounts department has changed. Now I actively monitor the key parameters I learned — they've been game changers."
"I used to think I was growing, but I wasn't. After the program I gained clarity on cost-centre profits, withdrawable profit and the reports that matter."
"I always struggled to understand why there was profit in the books but not in the bank. The Book-to-Bank report helped us focus on what really matters."
