This website, harshilandsajal.com, is operated by the team behind Especia Associates LLP, a firm of Chartered Accountants founded by CA Harshil Goyal and CA Sajal Goyal. In these terms, "we" and "us" means that operator, and "you" means anyone using this site.

These terms apply when you browse this site, register for one of our free classes, download a resource, or contact us through a form here. By doing any of those things, you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.

How we handle your personal information is covered separately in our privacy policy.

3. What this website is, and what it is not

This is the most important section on the page, so we have not buried it.

What it is: an education site. We explain how business finance works, share a system we use with clients, and run free classes. It is written for owners of small and medium businesses in India.

What it is not:

• It is not professional advice. Nothing here is accounting, tax, legal, investment or financial advice tailored to your circumstances. We do not know your business, your numbers or your obligations.
• It does not create a client relationship. Reading this site, attending a free class or downloading a resource does not make you a client of the firm, and does not create the duties that come with that.
• It is not a substitute for your own advisers. Before acting on anything you learn here, check it against your own situation with your accountant, your auditor or a qualified professional.

4. Free classes and sessions

• Our classes are free to attend, and we do not ask for card details to register.
• We may change the date, time, format or content of a session, or cancel one. If we do, we will tell registrants by email or WhatsApp.
• Sessions may be recorded. If you join with your camera or microphone on, or ask a question, you may appear in that recording. You can join with both off.
• We may share how you can work with us during a session. There is no obligation on you, and the session is complete on its own.
• We may remove anyone who is disruptive, abusive or promoting their own business to other attendees.

5. The book, templates and free resources

When you download the free chapters, a template or a checklist, you may use them inside your own business as much as you like. That is what they are for.

What you may not do is sell them, publish them, or present them as your own material to other people. If you want to use something with a client of your own or in your own training, just ask us.

We give resources as they are. We check our work carefully, but we cannot promise a template is free of every error, or that it suits your particular business.

6. If you become a client

Paid work is different, and these terms do not govern it. If you engage us for Virtual CFO work, the Finance Control Framework, cash flow work or outsourced accounting, we will give you a separate engagement letter setting out the scope, fees, responsibilities on both sides and how either of us can end it.

Where these terms and that engagement letter ever disagree, the engagement letter wins.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Prices depend on the size and complexity of your business, and we quote after a conversation.

7. Results, and what we do not promise

This site includes real results from real businesses, named with their permission. Those results happened, and we have not exaggerated them.

But they are the outcome of a particular business, in a particular market, run by an owner who did the work over months. They are not a prediction, a projection or a promise about your business.

• We do not guarantee any financial result, increase in profit, or improvement in cash flow.
• Your outcome depends on your business, your market, your team and what you actually do with what you learn — most of which is outside our control.
• Any figures used as examples are illustrations, not forecasts.

If anyone in our industry ever guarantees you a specific financial return, treat that as a reason to be careful.

8. Our content and materials

The content on this site — the writing, design, diagrams, the Finance Control Framework and its component reports, our book Business Ka Financial Mirror, and the templates that go with them — belongs to us or to whoever licensed it to us. It is protected by copyright and other rights.

You may read it, print it and use it inside your own business. You may quote a short passage if you credit us and link back.

You may not copy this site or its material to build a competing offering, republish it as your own, or use our names, logo or brand in a way that suggests we endorse you when we do not.

9. Using this website properly

Ordinary rules, briefly:

• Give accurate details when you fill in a form. We cannot reply usefully to a wrong number.
• Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to this site or the systems behind it.
• Do not use the site to send anything unlawful, misleading or abusive.
• Do not scrape or harvest content or contact details from this site for your own marketing.

10. Links to other websites

We link to other sites where they are useful, including our own firm's site at especia.co.in. We do not control anything on a website we do not run, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on it. Once you leave this site, their terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.

11. Our liability

We put real care into what we publish here, and we correct mistakes when we find them. Even so, we provide this website and its free materials on an "as is" basis, and we cannot promise the site will always be available or entirely free of errors.

To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for business losses — including lost profit, lost revenue or lost opportunity — arising from your use of this website or from decisions you take based on general information published here.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the obligations we owe you under a signed engagement letter if you are a client.

12. Changes to the site and these terms

We may update, add to or remove parts of this website, and we may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it visible rather than expecting you to spot it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Delhi NCR have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this website or these terms.
